The project aimed to restore an area of 18,500m2 that held a botanical garden of the XIV century and several buildings from the late XIX century, transforming it into a residential area immersed in a park and inserted into the urban fabric of Venice. We proposed an urban plan that requalified the historical value of the complex through the preservation of its buildings and the transformation of the area in a green connector with pedestrian streets and a bridge for the use of the neighbourhood. The project restored the historical buildings and turned them into large containers for modern apartments.
